We are a small, family owned pumpkin patch in Council Bluffs. We open our backyard to our community every fall and never charge an admission fee. We have a variety of pumpkins, gourds and apples for sale. Come check out our local patch!

Joe and Joan Welch started growing and selling pumpkins over 30 years ago. Together, they plant every seed by hand, weed every row, and pick the perfect pumpkins in hope of creating special memories for local families. Joe and Joan will be at the patch to greet you every weekend and evening!

Frequently Asked Questions
Payment Methods: We currently accept cash or check only. Please note, there is no ATM available on site.

Admission: There is no admission fee to visit the patch. However, items in the patch and shop are available for purchase.

Pumpkin Pricing: Pumpkins are priced based on size.

Apple Pricing: Apples are $1.50 a pound
​
Events: Due to our space, we are unable to host weddings, birthday parties, or other private events.

Photography: Photography is welcome during our business hours. There is no fee for photography, but we kindly ask that you make a purchase or a free-will donation.

U-Pick Fun: Head out to the patch and enjoy picking your own pumpkins, gourds, apples and grapes!

The Shop: If you'd rather skip the picking, our shop has a variety of items ready to take home.
